badass_bunny | Round 1! [Video Post via Lopmon's Rise Bracer. Backdated to mid-afternoon]

[Doumeki opens the door to Nadeko's room. There's two futon-beds inside with proper frames, but it seems like Nadeko is once again in the one Kazuma uses.

He tries really hard not to wake her up, putting a finger to his lips so Kazma and his partner knows to keep quiet while putting Kazuma to bed.]

[Kazma's partner stays in the living room, figuring the pair will return soon enough. Besides, here she can talk with her sister.]

So, did you miss me?

[Kazma nods as he silently walks into the room and lays Kazuma down on the futon. He covers his Player with a blanket and quietly leaves the room.]

[ Nadeko, who had been sleeping lightly, stirred the moment she heard footsteps, no matter how hard they had tried to keep quiet. She rubbed at one of her eyes, blinking as they tried to focus. ]

.. Mhn?

[ she looked at where Kazuma was sleeping, snuggling up a little next to him again, ready to go back to sleep.

but something seemed off. ]

[Kazma sees the movement and stops before he completely exits the room. He turns and takes several steps towards the futon. He now looms over Nakedo and Kazuma.]

Like I'd miss a hole in the head.

[Lopmon doesn't even bother looking at her sister. Apparently that backbone also came with watching how well Kazuma is able to ignore most things.]

[Doumeki hears her, kneeling down next to the girl and doing the same fever-check on her than he had done on Kazuma. She, at least, was finally getting better and hadn't been feverish in several days. That was a good sign.

He lets her snuggle in to Kazuma before speaking to her, keeping quiet for the boy's sake.]

Nadeko-chan, a friend of Kazuma-kun's is going to be staying with us. Is it alright if he sleeps in here?

[ she's still kind of dazed from just waking up, but she hears Doumeki and rolls over onto her back to look up at him. her eyes then avert over toward the giant bunny.

and she blinks a few times.

and stares. ]

Kazma-san ..?

[ she'd seen pictures. Kazuma showed her screenshots of Kazma in battle on OZ. she nods slowly. Kazma was important to Kazuma-kun. how could she deny him space here? ]

Mhm .. Kazma-san can stay.

[ and with that, she rolled back over onto her side, seemingly unfazed by the giant bunny now with them. she snuggles back into Kazuma, trying to focus on getting back to sleep. ]

[Kazma's eyes widen a bit at the girl knowing his name. Player must had told her about him? It mattered now. She was not going to hurt Player it seemed. He could allow them to sleep as they were. He leaves the room.]

Oh. I love you too sis.

[Kazma's Lopmon just smiles, this new attitude from her sibling was perfect. She had finally gotten some courage.]

So, what have you been up to since I last saw you?

[Doumeki follows him out, heading to the kitchen to start some tea. Moro is still watching Kazma, weirdly quiet, apparently just fascinated by the fact that it's a giant rabbit.]

Taking care of Kazuma, obviously.

[Kazma returns to his spot on the sofa and sits quietly. Lopmon just smirks at her sibling.]

I see. Nothing else then? Have you gotten into any fights with your Tamer yet?

[Doumeki occupies himself in the kitchen for the time being.

Lopmon huffs in annoyance.]

Kazuma isn't like that.

Oh? You mean he's a pacifist or something?

Like hell he is! He's a trained Shaolin Kenpo fighter! He has more control than to get in to petty fights!

[Lopmon smirks even more. This was interesting.]

I said nothing about petty fights. We are trying to save the world after all. Have you gotten into any fights or not?

[Lopmon looks over at Kazma, suddenly nervous.]

... y-yeah. One.

[The rabbit's left ear twitches slightly and one red eyes falls upon the white Lopmon. His partner doesn't stop speaking though.]

And how did the fight go? You kick some butt for one, sib?

[Lopmon twitches, inching away from Kazma]

Th-th-that's none of your damn business!

[Kazma doesn't move, but his eye doesn't leave the digimon. He does want to hear how it went. He pulls out his D-Comm and texts her.]

Please continue your story. I wish to know.

[Lopmon watches, her siblings reaction enough for her to piece the story together. Something bad happened.]

[Poor White Lopmon looks like she's going to have a heart attack and suddenly loses the ability to speak. So much for that new spine - Kazma fucking terrifies her just by being there, so she sure as hell doesn't want to tell him she failed to protect her tamer.

Doumeki, obviously, doesn't know what the message is, but he can wager a guess. He comes in to the living room with his tea, sitting down in an arm chair.]

He was holding his own against a couple of Hanumon, but more ganged up on him and they were both overpowered. Its to be expected - he's new here, there's no way his partner could have evolved that soon. Nadeko-chan and I happened to be in the area and evened the numbers.

[okay, not totally truthful, but really if anything the only thing Doumeki is guilty of here is omission rather than out and out lying.]

[Kazma listens and nods. From the digimon's reaction, he knows something is left out. But that does not matter. Past failures are in the past, they cannot be undone. He knows that well enough. He stands up and moves over to Kazuma's Lopmon. He places a hand on her head and nods to her. He understands how she feels.

Her sister, however, simply shakes her head to herself. It seems her sister's bravery is only partially there. No matter. She'll toughen up her sister, in due time.]

[Lopmon lets out a squeak when he approaches, but smiles nervously at the hand on her head.]

[Kazma gives the Lopmon a small smile, reassuring her he won't do anything. He turns to Doumeki and points to his tea and then back to himself. He hopes there is enough for two.]

I wouldn't have pegged you for a tea drinker.

[Doumeki gets up and goes to get the pot, bringing that and another cup over, pouring it for Kazma.]

You're really an avatar Kazuma-kun created?

[King Kazma sits down next to Doumeki and nods, taking his cup of tea and taking a drink. He thinks for a moment before deciding speaking would be easier. And with Kazuma not in the room, it makes it easier for him to speak.]

Correct. I am King Kazma, Player's avatar.

[That was a bit unexpected, hearing the little boy's voice coming from the much larger rabbit, but he supposes in some way it is to be expected.]

Can I ask you something then? It might be a bit personal.
